Bissau 14 August de 2023 - The Ministry of Economy, Planning and Regional Integration and UNFPA Guinea-Bissau, held today the opening ceremony of the Training on demographic dividend programming.
The opening ceremony was chaired by the General Director of Planning, Mr Issa Jandi, and the Deputy Representative of UNFPA, Mr Edmundo Vaz.
The training, which will last 5 days, aims to train and empower national technicians from different ministries and public entities on issues of the concept and programming of the Demographic Dividend, ICPD+25 agenda and especially in the elaboration of projects to capture and utilise the demographic dividend and improve the country's proficiency.
The beneficiaries of this training will be 22 technical staff from the different sectoral ministries involved in the demographic dividend issue, namely (Education, Health, Youth and Employment, Women).
