Bissau, 12 May 2023 - Today the launching workshop of the project: "inclusive policies and institutions for a peaceful society", took place, funded by the United Nations Peacebuilding Fund (PBF) with a duration of 24 months to be implemented by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in partnership with the Non-Governmental Organization INTERPEACE/Voz Di Paz.
The project aims to promote the inclusion and visibility of young women in peacebuilding, increasing their access to decision-making and offering possibilities of contributing to address their needs and concerns.
During the workshop, a comprehensive presentation of the Project was made, and it was an opportunity for the invited institutions to exchange experiences and perspectives for future collaborations in the area of youth.
The workshop was attended by the UNFPA Programme Team, INTERPEACE/VOZ DI PAZ, GMP Secretariat, Ministry of Youth, Culture and Sports, youth and women networks and associations, civil society organizations, private sector, and UN System Agencies.
