Bissau, 01 March 2023- The Ministry of Economy, Planning and Regional Integration and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) organized a high-level Steering Committee meeting with government members and respective technical teams from the 5 UNFPA partner Ministries, attended by: Minister of Economy, Planning and Regional Integration, Minister of Youth, Ministry of Education, Secretary of State for Planning and Regional Integration, Secretary of State for Youth and Secretary-General of the Ministry of Public Health, as well as the Resident Representative and Deputy Representative of UNFPA.
The meeting aimed at validating the Bi-Annual Work Plans (2023-2024), between UNFPA and implementing partners, developed during their presentation, analysis and validation session held on 22 February 2023.
This meeting was held as part of the follow-up concertation between UNFPA and its partners regarding the conclusion of the planning process of the Bi-Annual Work Plans (2023-2024) initiated on 13,14 and 15 December 2022.
