Job Advertisement - Graphic Designer and Editor of the 2022 Annual Report

JOB ADVERTISEMENT 

The United Nations Population Fund in Guinea-Bissau (UNFPA), in order to produce its Annual Report 2022 in high resolution PDF for posting online, is launching an advertisement for the recruitment of a service provider or consultant.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop an original design template for the 2022 Annual Report.
• Gather content and transform it into a compelling visual (text, graphics, pictures, etc.).
• Compile the report as E-book and High resolution pdf documents (in Portuguese language);
• Adapt the template for other languages (English and French);
• Compile the report into English and French languages (E-book and PDF).

Deliverables:

• The complete report in Portuguese, English and French in E-Book (online);
• High resolution pdf documents of the final report (all three languages).
• High resolution printable versions of the final report (all three languages).

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

1. Clear understanding of the assignment clearly indicating the proposed work plan, sample copies of similar assignments undertaken, demonstrating an understanding of the communication requirements of a UN agency;

2. Proven experience in producing publications with innovative graphic designs with the use of software such as Adobe Design Premium, In-Design, Illustrator, CorelDraw, web design tools such as Dreamweaver and Flash, etc;

3. Working experience in designing of high quality report publications and other high-level communications products.

4. Ability to work under tight deadlines;

5. Should be fluent in Portuguese. Working proficiency in English and French are required.
