The National School of Health held a graduation ceremony for 20 newly graduated midwives from the complementary course of obstetric to obtain the Specialist Midwife degree. Held as part of the post tutorship course organized in 2016 at the Naional Schoold of Health, this course aimed at improving the midwifery teaching body, capable of providing conditions of continuing training midwives in order to meet the needs of the National Health system. This event was held at the National School of health in Bissau .

 

 

The 12-month course conducted in partnership with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), ran from 10 July 2018 to 19 September 2019. The mission of the National School of Health is to coordinate and execute continuing education for technicians for the country's National Health System, giving priority to teaching, research and technical cooperation.
